Leetcode: Jump Game

Jump Game

Similar Problems:

Given an array of non-negative integers, you are initially positioned at the first index of the array.

Each element in the array represents your maximum jump length at that position.

Determine if you are able to reach the last index.

For example:

A = [2,3,1,1,4], return true.

A = [3,2,1,0,4], return false.

##        maxIndex: keep tracking the furthest reachable index
## Complexity: Time O(n), Space O(1)
class Solution:
    def canJump(self, nums):
        :type nums: List[int]
        :rtype: bool
        length = len(nums)
        if length <= 1: return True
        maxIndex = 0
        for i in range(0, length-1):
            # we can't jump anymore
            if i > maxIndex: break
            # already found the target
            if maxIndex >= length-1: break
            maxIndex = max(maxIndex, i+nums[i])
        return maxIndex >= length-1
